Hi - hope those of you who went to the NEC Sewing for Pleasure had a good day. I went with two friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. I called by Jane's stands at one point but I could see she was so busy with the classes that I felt it wouldn't be fair to interrupt her just to say 'hello'. Bumped into Stephanie and Joan whilst wandering around so we had a catch up on news. Also bumped into a fellow Severn Valley Railway volunteer! Neither of us knew the other one was a stitcher (and we've both been volunteers there for a number of years). I can now see that the next time we see each other on Bridgnorth platform - her in her buffet trolley uniform and me in my dining car gear, we shall have to stop and discuss our UFO's or something. Small world isn't it.
Hope you are all enjoying Easter. Been in the garden this morning (Saturday) for a quick dig - glorious out there, didn't want to come inside really but the husband's moaning he's hungry so I suppose I'll have to feed him (I must remember he's the provider of all the lovely money I spent at the N.E.C.!)
