I have a request from a member who is looking for a particular cross-stitch design. She writes:
I am looking to find the cross-stitch design/pattern of an alphabet sampler designed by Martin Engelbrecht the Augsburg engraver, the original of which is apparently held in Amsterdam University whom I have tried to contact and although I did get a reply from them they were unable to assist me as to which department in the University held it. I tried the ICT dept and the admin dept, but to no avail and felt I was going round in circles. I saw the design in a cross-stitch book I have "Making Samplers" by Jutta Lammer.
Does anyone out there have any information about this design?
