.... the festivities? Has Santa been good to you? If not, try to be good next year. That might be a bit boring though. It's Monday so should have done the laundry, but thought, no. Stitching is more fun. What are you all doing for New Year's Eve? Not that I am nosey.

Yes Santa was good to me, but even better to my 2 grandchildren. we couldn't move for all their presents.Relaxed on Sunday afternoon and then my other daughter and her family arrived for the day on Monday.Hope to stitch tonight, but going to an 80th birthday party tomorrow.New year will be spent at home with all the children phoning at midnight.

Nothing specific planned for New Year's Eve. Or New Year's Day.
Have started stitching the latest pages for the sampler book and they may well be finished by the end of the week - much more interesting to be stitching than doing almost anything else I can think of :o)

I have some lovely presents . My daughter who lives in Germany bought me Janes new book ( well I bought it , she paid ) and other daughter sent it to Father Christmas and there it was under the tree . What a surprise ! ! some lovely scissors , lots of "things" in tall bags ! ! Itoo have been stitching , A border from the new book .

Don't know if Santa has been good to me yet. Went to my siters (and didn't take our presents with me) from there went to my Mums (and blood was vey nearly spilt!!!) and got home after driving round the M25 in thick fog last night, went to work today at 8.00 am, have done a full days work, and as he's watching some ghastly film he recorded, we still haven't opened the presents. Oh well, I suppose we might get round to doing so before next year!!! Happy new year to everybody.
