Strange happenings. My laptop is doubling up messages, so Happy New Year for the second time. The gremlins are out already.

Here's hoping that 2011 is a healthy year for everyone. Looking forward to getting back to my stitching once the merry go round of holiday events calms down

Happy New Year to everyone. I have already started stitching . Brenda invited myself , Christine and Andrea to her house for a stitching day yesterday. A lovely relaxing day to start the new year ! Many thanks , Brenda . Thanks also to Christine who took me in the car adding quite some time to her journey . I never cease to be grateful for all my kind friends ! See you all soon !

Happy New Year to all!
We all had a lovely day at Brenda's yesterday. What a fantastic start to the year, just sitting and stitching and being provided with lunch - hope it's a good omen for 2011!

I was just b---y glad when you all went home - I had a terrible mess to clear up afterwards.
Happy New Year from me to everyone too. Are you all making New Year's resolutions I wonder - mine is to try and finish a few more UFO's, it saddens me to see those poor neglected items begging to be finished. Apart from that there's nothing else I want to be 'resolute' about - oh wait though, I have another - I really must clear all the chocolate out of the house so I better start on that tonight.
It's joyful to know we are on the other side of the shortest day and very soon, for those of us whose preferred time for stitching is the afternoon, that we shall be getting more light to help us.
Warmest good wishes to everyone.

Happy New Year everyone!
And a big thank you to Brenda for being the hostess with the mostess yesterday.!
I feel bad because I spent ages sorting out my sat nav to get me home and didn't realise Brenda was stood on the doorstep waiting to watch me off. Apologies for making you cold!Posted 13 years ago # -
Happy New Year everyone.
Have done a bit of stitching over the holidays, well I had to try out my Christmas present from my Mum didn't I? (I treated mtself to a Needle Needs frame and stand with the money she gave me for Christmas and my birthday) Have finished the cross stitch version of Jane's Christmas stitching day, which I made into a cushion, also did the Hardanger version which is ready to mount on the heart, and finished my "Snowmen" picture! Well it's back to school tomorrow so won't have a lot of time then. A UFO is now mounted on the frame, Jane's Map of England sampler. Any one going to Jane's January day? See you there if you are.Posted 13 years ago #
