    This is a personal thing, but I find linen EASIER to use than aida.

    Hope you get on with it OK!

    I can only repeat what Jane tells everyone when trying a new stitch or get away from Aida, use a low count material and practise. It really works. Personally I prefer stitching on linen or evenweave, especially when a lot of fabric is unstitched. I still use up my stash of Aida for quick cards.

    Same here, I don't like working on Aida now that I've discovered linen. It gives the work a much nicer look I think, and just like Brigitte, I use my Aida for small cards or other gift tags.
