What a wonderful weekend with such a select group, lots of stitiching achieved and such silence! Looking forward to the list of future weekends. Hope to see everyone againn soon. Sue F.

Yes, I felt it was a really good weekend, although it was a shame (IMHO) that there weren't more people. I mean, it was nice being "exclusive", but a few more people would not have been too many.
It would be good to know when the next weekend is planned, too!

    Hi All

Yes agree a lovely weekend, and really just the right number I feel for Jane on her own. I really enjoyed it and the food..............well certainly ate far to much.

Look forward to the next time

I was so gutted to miss it. Just didn't have enough money, alas. I hope there will be some others arranged for later in the year. I really enjoy the weekends away.
I was really jealous when I saw the photo's on Janes Journal. You lucky lot!

  7. Hello everyone! Have been in London for a bit and have just found the Forum up and running as Jane promised. Had a bit of trouble registering - computers and I do have trouble from time to time!

Had a great time at Swindon - alas as usual it went too quickly but it was nice to see everyone and the food was yummy.

I finished my darned tulip (!) and have made a little bag with it. Will have to show it off at a Bring and Brag somewhere in the future.

Hope those of you going to France have a lovely time. Take lots of photos so's we can see them when you get back.

    Bye for now, Brenda

  9. Hello Jane and everyone - wonderful to think we are going to have a weekend in the autumn - we are all suffering sorely from withdrawal symptoms whilst some of you have been in France! Looking forward to hearing the where and when in due course - and agonising in case its a September 22nd onwards date - my husband's booked a holiday in Germany, the return from which is perilously close to Ally Pally. He couldn't understand what all the fuss was about when I cried 'oh no, when do we get back' - volcanic eruption? There was one in our house too. Men - huh!! Brenda

You MUST be back for Ally Pally, Brenda. It simply would not do, not meeting up with your there.
    Love, Brigitte
