Alison, we'll be thinking of you. I know that things are going to be alright, so don't panic, keep calm and carry on. We'll e mail you and find out how things are. Take care and have a relaxing weekend.

Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for their good wishes. I will be replying personally over the next couple of days. The surgery was successful and I'm now home. Apart from a painful back and shoulder, I'm fine. On the down side, I will have to return in a few months for more complex surgery and I'm sure I can count on your support then. I'm going to pick up a needle this afternoon and see if my shoulder allows stitching! Love to all, Alison xxx.

We're all thinking of you Alison, hope things are doing okay, but don't knock yourself out doing any stitching. Take it easy!

  6. Must be nice to be back in your own bed - hope husband is looking after you carefully - just sit around and enjoy the fuss. Love Brenda

Hope you are making good progress, Alison. Just do a few crosses at a time. That way you cannot overdo it and still keep up the skill. Little steps cover big distances, too.

So really fed up. I'm back in the Royal Free with what looks like a post op infection. Not a happy Alison at all.

Oh no, you were doing so well. Take care and hope if it is an infection, its not too serious, and you get well soon.

What a disappointment. Just keep going and get well soon. I am away for a couple of days. Want to hear you are all fixed again when I get back.

Hi. Back from hospital tonight. Sadly my magic box is not working so pain is back and I have a sore shoulder! I've been given a couple of months off - we have a holiday booked! Stitching wise, I managed to do a Golden Wedding card for my aunt and uncle and they were thrilled with it. On the minus side my BlackBerry has died and I've lost a load of contact info so please excuse me if I take time to get in touch!
