How do I edit symbols in Istitch ??

Hi
Just received my istitch software today, i previously had the jane greenoffs gold edition, i have been trying to edit the symbols so i choose my own, i upgraded to windows 7 last year, before that on the gold version i could edit the symbols to what i wanted, then when i put it on to windows 7 could not, so this prompted me to purchase the lasted version i.e. istitch, again cannot do this, any body got any idea how to get this to work as i have a chart where the symbols are way to small to cross stitch from and would like to put on to PC using istitch and as a lot of colours to it.

Can anyone help me ???

I have that, but not tried to work with it yet. I am sorry not to offer any help. It would be the blind leading the blind. I am glad when I can use things as they are.

I think I've sussed it!

Don't open the application in the usual way. Instead, you should right-click on the iStitch icon in the desktop and select 'Run as administrator' to open the application, then it will let you save edited symbols.

Well it works for me...
