Well, I am off tomorrow to catch the noon ferry from Dover to Dunkerque to go and stay with my Mum for a week. The journey will not be as much fun as the last time I jollied along that stretch of motorway, sitting on Malcolm's coach with you lot keeping me company. Hopefully the weather will be half reasonable and not so windy. Can't have the ferry rocking too much as stitching would be very difficult, especially as I am stitching over one fabric thread.
Keep well and be good while I am away.

Brigitte, I'm always good. Perfect in fact, - well at least I think I am.

Um, Barbara, darlin?

No cucumbers suffered throughout my stay in Germany, Barbara. It is scary, though, to see relatively young and healthy people die or suffer permanent health problems.
Doris: There has been a violent new type of food poising bug reeking havoc in North Germany. First indications were that the bug eminated from Spanish cucumbers. Then they thought it was due to German beansprouts from a particular supplier to some restaurants.

They're now saying that its due to some other food stuff, but i can't remember which one it is. Its a really nasty bug, that doesn't seem to have any cure, and I know that all the doctors at work were shaking their heads about whats caused it. Whatever it is, I hope to goodness they find the cause and a cure fast. Glad you got home safely. Sorry to have made you think I'm completely doo-lally Doris.
