Here we go again

    Just got back from my second home aka Royal Free. After discussion with microbiology and my dear surgeon, we've decided to remove the electrodes in my neck and treat with antibiotics for six weeks to check that all infection is gone. Only then will we think about putting the electrodes back in. So, no pain relief till after Christmas. Joy? Not. Alison xxx

    You must be devastated. We will all keep our fingers crossed that the antibiotics work and that you are not in too much pain in the mean time.Love Sally X

    Hi Alison, hope that the pain killers will work this time, and the domestos does its job.Sorry, that's what we call antibiotics in my job. Maybe you just need a new body??I'll e mail you very soon. All love. B.

    Love the domestics bit. Almost as good as Colin's description of the biofilm as slime. I don't want slime in my neck!
