   Had a lovely surprise when I got home from the RSPCA this morning - a card from Barbara and the Gang from Scotland. You did say a few weeks ago you'd send a card but I thought you would be too busy enjoying yourselves to remember. Thank you so much - I felt very touched that you had thought of me.

   Thank goodness you got it. We were in the Burrell Collection when we sent it, and we were thinking about all our friends who could not be with us. Incidentally, we've now changed our name. Henceforth, we are to be known as The Prostitutes Guilds!!! Explanations will be given when requested.

   Let's hope that next year with the same hotel but different visits Jane sees fit to repeat Sunday evening's entertainment. Definitly need the hotel to provide boxes of tissues - remember to have one or two handy.....
   Anyone who wasn't there will have to ask someone who was for the full details - not fit for publication here and better related in person than trying to write it down...
   That will keep you guessing, I am still laughing even as I think about it.

   Wonderfull weekend and thanks to Elizabeth for organising such perfect weather with "him upstairs"!

   Okay for those of you who weren't with us - last week, one of the people at work asked me who I was going to Scotland with. I was wearing a surgical mask at the time of my answer, and as any nurse knows, when you put on a mask, you immediately start speaking fluent Serbo Croat. Anyway, I replied that I was going with the cross stitch guild, but she misunderstood, and thought I was going with the Prostitutes guild. That explains the first part, but as for the second, I'm definitely not going to explain, and Su, she said she would e mail patterns, to those who want them, when she contacts us. Hope that will help you to start speaking English as it should be spoke again.
