Can anyone help me with a coffee stain on my white aida cloth. I was stitching at the hospital and a family member spilled coffee on my work! Anything that I can use to get it out??
    Thank you

Hi Karen, sorry nobody else seems to have contacted you. The only method I have of getting stains out is to soak the work in cold water, but that's not really suitable for cross stitch, but it might help if you want to try it. Sorry not to be able to help more. Hope it helps.

  3. Yes, Barbara's right - we are all a bit mean for not having responded to this - probably because we are all sitting back waiting to see if someone can come up with a miracle cure. Not sure if the stain is just on the fabric or on the actual stitching. If it's on the fabric only, personally I would try dabbing at it with a bit of Ace bleach and if it 'lifts' then quickly dunking it in a mild soap solution to wash before the bleach itself leaves a mark!. Please don't come round my house with a bunch of fives if it all goes wrong though!

Oh - just looked up again to your name Karen - you live in the USA I see - well then, you're hardly likely to jump on a plane to come over here and give me a bunch of fives are you. How stupid I am.
