  1. I would be happy with a 2 or 3 star hotel. The Uni idea sounds good , but I do prefer the "all-inclusive" package. Seaside hotels usually do cheaper rates during the winter months ,i.e.October to March.

How about the North-West branch of the CSG having a "get-together !

I would be interested in a North west branch get together, I am new to this and havent been on any of the CSG weekends yet, everything always seems to be " down south " which is nice if you live there isnt it.

I've used uni accommodation when organising swim training camps and they are very good value. Rooms tend to be all en-suite (much nicer than when I was in uni) and some will do a meal package as well. I know that UAE Norwich does an all inclusive deal and it's MUCH cheaper than a hotel.

  4. Janet . The north west branch is just an idea of mine . There are four of us that live fairly close and I thought we could get together sometime .Several of us travel by train to the weekends and then stay sunday night . Its easier travelling on a Monday. Dont worry if you are first timer on your own , you wont be for long . Someone will take you under their wing .The work tables usually seat about eight people , so thee are plenty of people to talk to . Look forward to seeing soon .

Beryl, Thanks for that and I will certainly think about coming on a weekend, when I have read about them and seen pictures they always look fun to do.
