Does anyone know where I can find a children's nativity alphabet or children's Christmas alphabet. I think Jo verso may have done one but I can't find it in any of her books that I have. I saw an amazing "Happy Christmas" banner yesterday (letters pegged on to ribbon with Christmas card pegs)and would like to have a go at making one myself for this Christmas, but I need an alphabet. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Jo Verso has a 'Winter Alphabet' in her book 'Cross Stitch Year'. It contains many Christmas elements.

    Alternatively, look at these links

You will need to scroll down the pages of the last two to find the alphabets.

I hope you find something - it sounds like a fun project. Let us know what you decide and how you get on.

    Thanks.

The one that is on this banner has the letter and then nativity characters in it. It looks very like a traditional Jo Verso pattern. It is certainly her style. I have been lent the banner, so I could redraw it myself if necessary, but I would not only like to save the time but also see what alternatives I could stitch. If only we had photos I could show how simple but amazing it is.
