Hi (AKA an introduction)

    New here, though not to stitching.
    I've actually been stitching since I was 7 (20 years this year, my gosh) though I've delved in and out of it as a hobby. Now I stitch quite regularly and like to think I know some things (though not everything in the slightest), I try out all sorts nowadays, and rarely have nothing going on!
    I thought I would start making the effort to meet other like minded people, who share similar interests!

    So do feel free to say hi in PMs (or whatever) and I will try to pop in at least a couple of times a week, and get involved and chatting!

    Welcome to the forum, crafty one, and I know you'll meet lots of like minded people on it. Lots of us do other crafts in addition to cross stitch - I for one do cross stitch, knitting, and I'm also doing a city and guilds qualification in patchwork and quilting, so I know how you feel. If you come to guild weekends, I know you'll soon meet and make friends with us all. Look forward to seeing you at one sometime.

    Welcome from me too. I too do other crafts, counted embroidery, knitting (at present baby clothes for grandson expected in November) and I also make cards for friends and family. In the past I have also done dressmaking, lace making (bobbin, needle and even tatting!) I can also crochet. My comment is if it involves fabric or thread I have probably at least had a go at it if not mastered it!!!!!! Hope to meet you at a Guild event sometime in the future.
