Felt Making

    A few weeks ago I attended a days workshop on felt making.
    Despite my creative abilities being highly questionable, it was a most enjoyable day.
    Carefully layering up the background. Experimenting with decorative stuff on the design, then the really fun bit. Soaking it with water and rubbing in soap.
    It was soooo relaxing just massaging in soap into the felt.
    The end result is a bit interesting but I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a follow workshop to make a felt book cover. That one is on Sunday. And I'm very much looking forward to it.

    Enjoy your day!!!! Feltmaking is not for me. All that squishing about with water and soap. I don't think I would have any fingernails left at all.
