I did not think I would be able to go this year. My elder daughter's op has been brought forward from the end of October to next Tuesday, so I am needed to look after the two little boys. However, my dear s-i-l had asked me some weeks ago if I had any dates when I had something on and remembered. He is taking the Thursday off so I can go. I really appreciate that he is doing this for me. Christmas will be on our doorsteps before my daughter will be able to look after her family and household herself, so I shall not have a lot of free time till then. I just hope that Echelle will recover quickly and feel well again. She has gotten worse every week and is just about 50 kg now and in pain constantly. I shall be glad when next Tuesday is over.

  2. Hi Brigitte, so pleased that you can make it. I will be there on the Thursday so will keep my phone one on and hope that we can meet up for a chat.
My daughter got me a ticket back in the summer and I am meeting her at Waterloo and we will go the rest of the way by tube. I'm looking forward to it as It is several years since I last went, but I'm not looking forward to catching the 6.55 am train. I just hope that the journey is not as long as when I went to Olympia. See you there. Sally

  3. Hi Brigitte
Hope you enjoy Ally Pally, all the more so as you didn't think you were going. Must be a first for the NHS to bring forward an operation, obviously a serious situation so will think of your daughter on Tuesday. Monica xx

Hi Brigitte, sorry I won't be there on the Thursday, so I'll miss seeing you, but I hope that everything goes well with your daughters op., and that you really enjoy yourself at Ally Pally. Try and relax and go and spend lots of money - I'm sure it will do you loads of good to have some time to yourself before getting back into the thick of looking after the rest of the family. We'll all be thinking of Echelle I'm sure on Tuesday. Barbara. xxx

  5. Hello Brigitte - will be thinking of you all on Tuesday. What a truly dreadful year this has been for you. I too am at Ally Pally on Thursday (and Friday) so may see you. Hope you enjoy your day - if you can relax and stress out anywhere it will be there. Loving hugs. Brenda
