    I have been friends with Jane for almost 30 years and have worked lots of her designs and have absolutely no idea why I didn't join the Guild in '96 when she started it - except that I worked full time in the NHS and had some pretty big familly committments - however I finally got round to joining after my husband died in 2006 and have never looked back - it has become the big passion in my life. I have made SO many fabulous friends and it has given me such a huge lift when life seemed pointless - so I am thrilled every time I hear someone else has found and joined the Guild and another zany person has joined this jolly band of stitching nuts !
