I'm looking for the materials kit for the Flower Book Sampler and can't find it on the site. This is a new project that was started in #81 of Stitch That. I'm very intrigued by this project but a good selection of materials are hard to come by in my area (NYC if you can imagine that). The local craft stores are very limited in their selections. It seems that all of the good needlework supply stores are in NJ and that is just too much of a hassle. And I think Jane's prices are easily comparable even with the shipping costs.

The kit is in the shop - try typing Flower Sampler Book in the Search box at the top right-hand corner and it should come up OK.

Right you are Christine! Found it! Don't know why I couldn't see it before. Thanks!

I think the reason you couldn't find it at first is because it is not in the main "shop" as when it was featured in Stitch That 81 it was a Members Only pack and of course we can't access Members Only area at the moment. I notice Jane says on the Flower Sampler bit now that she was going to launch it as a kit at the Autumn shows at a higher price than to us.

I think it looks just lovely and I've never seen or done anything like it before. I don't know exactly what I'll do with it when it is done (I imagine it should be displayed suitably somehow) but it is on my Xmas list and my husband is already receiving strong hints!

    Hi Lori
I saw some of the firdt psges when I went to a class at Pinks Barn and yes it is really lovely. I have the kit for the Sampler Book which Jane did a while ago but am still trying to finish a few UFO's from Jane's workshops, still I am going to the needlework show at Alexandra Palace in a few weeks and I just might be tempted!!! Or like you it might be on my Christmas list.

I went to the show at the Alexandra Palace last year and just loved it! Got to meet Jane and everything. The only thing that didn't meet my expectations was the gold work class I attended. Too rushed and too many people in the class. Everything else was wonderful! It was the first such show I had attended and I came away amazed at what could be done with textiles. And, of course, I stole a day or so from the trip for sight-seeing around London and was blessed with only one day of rain throughout the trip (except for the night I arrived when it was raining cats and dogs).

Due to a tightened budget, this year I'm going to what I hope will be a similiar show in Lancaster, PA around the same time. But I hope to return to the London show when things get better.

Yes, Ally Pally is something special. I have my ticket already. My excuse to go every year is that I need to renew my CSG membership in person because I am too stupid to do it any other way!

I am going to Ally Pally for the second time, went last year with Fiona D and her cross stitch group and am going with them again this year. Didn't do any classes and don't plan to do any this year when you only have a short time there, it just becomes too rushed. I'm not sure we saw everything last time let alone doing classes!!
