Of course I will Barbara either put a post on here on Saturday or send me an e-mail. I think you have my e-mail address I know I have yours. I will certainly check e-mails and Forum on Saturday. Will probably not have time to check anything on Sunday morning as Jeff is driving Fiona and I and going fishing for the day so will mean early start to go and collect Fiona and get to Jane's on time. At least we can have a good old moan on here.

Thanks Jean. I'll let you know. Do you think it's only us two unfortunates who are missing the mag, or are there others out there who don't post on the forum who haven't got it?

Jean, actually spoke to Jane about something else this morning, and told her about the non-appearance of the mag. She said she's going to send us replacements for the ones that haven't arrived. Hope that helps but she's not certain why they don't get here. They all get sent out together apparently. Look forward to seeing you soon, and hope you enjoy making the box and it's bits. B.
Postmans just been and it still didn't get here,so think I did the right thing.

  4. Been following this item with interest - just so disappointing when everyone else seems to be receiving their magazines but not you. I can remember far back to Issue 86 and everyone was raving about all the little flower charts that Jane had put in at that time. I was so envious reading all the comments about how lovely they were and I couldn't see them! In the end I contacted Jane and of course she put another in the post straightaway. When Issue 86 did arrive there was a little note inside from her to say 'sorry for the nuisance' - so I knew that that one was the second one she'd sent. Just as well I did contact her because the first one posted never did arrive!

So obvious that once Jane has handed them over at the counter she has no control over what the Post Office then does with them - must be really frustrating for her as of course she must feel it puts her business in a bad light. Not her fault at all so if there are new recruits to the Guild out there still waiting for their current magazine we would stress to you - just let Jane know - she always immediately does what she can to put things right.

Hope those of you going to Pinks for the day tomorrow have a lovely time and hope too that we shall see some of you at Swindon. Love Brenda

Luckily I received mine on Tuesday and I do sympathise with those who have missed out. I remember reluctantly having to cancel a subscription to another specialist magazine because invariably the issues did not arrive. Always a royal mail issue. In fact one month I received 2 magazines which had clung together during their journey but luckily the address was local so I was able to pass it on to the recipient. I felt guilty because it was not a big circulation magazine but at least I could buy them locally albeit at a much higher price. That is not an option in this case but at least we can feel reassured that Jane will do everything she can to help.

She sounded very upset this morning when I told her about the non-appearance, and immediately said she'd put another one in the post. I agree with Brenda! it does put her business in a bad light but she always does her best to put things like that right. Thanks Jane, carry on the good work.

    The saga goes on!!

On Saturday got card from Post Office something to collect at sorting office with money to pay not enough postage. Lo and behold my Itch to Stitch no postage at all on it paid £2.10 to get it including handling charge.

Went to Pinks yesterday one other person there had had this experience too. Jane and Bill very upset as they pay Post Office to deal with postage. They take a sack to the Post Office it is weighed they pay for the weight and the Post Office does the rest. It would appear that this time they didn't do their job!!

If anyone has still not got their magazine or had the experience I did please contact Jane. I know Jane has posted on Facebook but thought I would post this here for anyone who doesn't do Facebook just the Forum.

I think Jane and Bill would like to know exactly how many people have been affected by this.

Well, I got,my mag. on Saturday morning after I phoned Jane, but haven't had anything from the post office yet. It will be interesting to see whether they do send me a card or not, but after all the problems I've had lately with our post office delivery service, I'm not holding my breath.
Thanks for the heads up Jean.
