    Barbara: yes I drive a Maserati, which looks uncommonly like a Fiat Panda!!!! but it's new and the most d I v I n e colour (I can bore you all with photos!!). Jean: thanks for the warning on Nora - I'm new to sat nav and when she said 2.45 hours, I thought .....mmm... Friday....M25.... Optimistic! If I'm not there for dinner, you know I hit traffic!! Aiming to be there about 3 ish now to see the ladies arrive in their cozzies!! I shall bring mine (with the flattering skirt). It nicely complements the boob tube and ra-ra skirt I have picked out for Saturday dinner...!!!

    Oh and by the way ... 2 sleeps to go!! If Barbara is celebrating her birthday this weekend, we could join forces and have an early celebration of my 65th (aaaahhh!!) which is on Star Wars Day.....

    A REALLY interesting thing! My mum has just told me that she was stationed at the American Museum during the war!! Apparently back then it was the Headquarters of the RAF Barrage Balloon Command. She was attached to them as a WAAF! I've been instructed to take lots of photos!!

    Yeah, this time tomorrow will be thinking of going down into the bar! DH is out tonight, so I can sort my packing out. Really looking forward to the weekend.

    My ballgown is cunningly disguised as trousers and a top. A real style maker! I do have a frock (does anyone call them "frocks" anymore?). That might do but the fluffy slippers may be a mistake. Packing later, so decisions to be made then

    G'day everyone from Down Under! I am stitching whilst on holiday. One UFO finished. Another one on the go. About to have a traditional Aussie BBQ . Raining here in Melbourne. Have a lovely weekend girls and hope someone will show me a pic of the project in due course. Sister-in-law’s 40th birthday party tomorrow and it is fancy dress. Hubby and I are the Ugly Sisters! May not feel brave enough to post pics! Happy Stitching!!
