    Hello Everybody.

Due to a potential house move I am forced to get rid of a huge box of cross stitcher magazines that date from between 1990-2001. They are in good condition, some have the free kits with them, some don't. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can give details of which ones I have.

  2. Hello Suzi - House move? - think it through - don't get rid of your magazines; just move house, let your husband build himself a nice big shed then all his stuff can go out there and you can fill the house with your magazines. Sorted!

I did that with my Geoff - he loves his shed; always playing out there he is, fiddles with his motorbike, fiddles with the lawnmower, fiddles with - Oh God I was going to say his nuts and bolts; but that sounds rude doesn't it, so I won't.......... Brenda

I second that! We did exactly that before we moved. Everybody laughed when a good year and a half beforehand we cleared the garden and had three sheds built and the rest slabbed and shingled. My older mags are all in boxes in the store shed.I may thin them out every now and then - old adverts and charts I am never likely to do -, but throw away, never. So, you simply MUST KEEP your mags, Suzi

Um! Yes I know but unfortunately they have got to go!! If we don't move we are changing the dimensions of our house to make a larger shower room which will mean we will loose storage space.

Unfortunately I do not get the time these days to do cross stitch anymore - in fact I am ashamed to admit that I have had one on my frame for the last 7 years and it is only half finished. so I just feel that someone out there may have a use for them. I am still keeping probably 50% of them, so there is hope for me in the future!!

Suzi, that is a great shame. Well, if I may be so bold and ask you to check if you have the following issues:
    130 - 127 - 118 - 119 - 114 - 113 - 112 - 111 - 109 - 107 - 106 - 104 - 96 - 95 - 91 - 88 - 84 - 78 - 77 - 75 - 72 - 71 - 67 - 64 - 62 - 61 and earlier, except issues 54, 53, 42, 33, 32, 28, 15.
Let me know if and how the issues can change homes.

Just to let you know that I won't be able to respond to any posts for a wee while after today. I am off to the Fatherland to see my Mum. 'See you' when I get back.

    Hi Brigitte

Hope you have had a good time with your Mum. If you are happy for me to have your e-mail, I have got the full details on a spreadsheet of the issues I have got, there are about 80 so a few too many to list on here. I have put an ad into the Cross Stitcher magazine for these, so depending on when it gets published this list may be amended.

Brigitte, we all know that normal is a relative term. (Epecially where you are concerned), but you know I'm only joking. Glad you had a nice time with your Mum.

You know, Barbara, I had a feeling that you would come back with something like this, as soon as I had written 'normal'. Sometimes I am convinced 'normal' is total fiction. Did I say 'sometimes'?.......
