Hi! If you go to Jane's Journal, she has included a short video demonstration of using istitch which is useful. Also, there are messages on various forum threads from folk who have used istitch - but you will have to do a bit of digging for those, I suspect.
Oh, I should say that you will have to scroll down a bit in Jane's Journal to see the video.

Hi Ria There is a previous discussion on this forum called istitch. It might help you a little.
It was written by those of us who had Designer Gold and were trying to work out how to convert to istitch.
It's a good programme. You just need to play with it and see what it will do. At the end of the day you can just delete your 'playings' and start again. I train people on how to use software and say there's no substitute for just clicking buttons and seeing what happens.
One warning. It can be addictive and take up a lot of your time. But it's great fun.

Hi
One more thought for those who are interested in old samplers. On the Needleprint website you can buy downloads of motives that are in a .jgg format. These work in Jane's Designer Gold and can be renamed to .pt7 files. For instructions check out the previous stream.
There are some beautiful motives. I admit to having a full collection. Some of the motives can be used on their own for cards or biscornu's......whatever you want.
