I have almost finished stitching the hussif and are starting to think about making it up. I feel it could do with something to give it a bit of body and I was thinking about lining it with interfacing. I would be grateful for any advice as to what others have done.

    Thanks

My local John Lewis shop has a "bit-box" in their curtain department and they have small pieces of curtain lining I find useful for lining my embroidery . I tried "iron-on" interfacing on a small bag but it has not been very successful . It is now "breaking up" but it has had some hard wear .Hope this helps .

I have put very thin cotton wadding in mine - if you think it will not be washed, a piece of felt works well too.

Thanks for the advice it is much appreciated. I still have a bit more stitching to do so I will press it when I have finished and take it from there. Fingers crossed that all the sections are on the right side and the right way up. Thanks again.
