  5. Had the start of a happy New Year here this morning - found some Daffy bulbs have started pushing their way through. Also some new buds of leaf growth on a Clematis and the Wisteria!!

Also had a brilliant day yesterday. Our choir hosted a Come and Sing Day of Handel's Messiah and we ended up with just over 200 of us in St. Mary's Church in Nantwich. No voice left at the end of the day (for which my husband is truly thankful) and I'm feeling all joyful and uplifted.

....and could it get any better....I've also been sitting with some stitching this afternoon........

Good wishes to all for 2017. Love Brenda

  7. No! - only 50! - God, that's soon going to come round then now......... Just ready for a nice break with someone else cooking for me, doing the washing up and making my bed........

And then of course....there's also the stitching!!!!!!! Yay!!!!

At least for Andrea this year she will be in attendance without the usual problems of seeking time off (as with her previous office commitments) and of watching the number of days leave she was using up on Guild weekends whilst balancing the time with other holidays she wanted to plan.

    Roll on the 17th March........
