For those watching for the postman ....
I was at "Pinks" yesterday for the Christmas stitching day and Jane mentioned that the latest Stitch That has been delayed a bit because the printers had a flood and were without phones etc for a while. They are up and running again and thankfully the design studio was not affected. I understand that it should be printed and posted out to us by the end of this week.

Mine too - shame it's a bit late to stitch the Christmas ideas.
Hope Jane will still have the button offer available in January. Get ahead for next Christmas.
Hope everyone is managing through the awful weather!
Dug the car out of the 8" of snow and did a supermarket run yesterday (along with soooooo many others) what we haven't got now we will go without! Saw the first bus since last Friday on our hill just now......
Have a great Christmas everyone.

Hardly any post at all these days. Ah well, at least the bills aren't getting through either. But it's not just the weather which is making life difficult. I posted two items to Germany B.S. (Before Snow) and emailed my friends to email when they arrived, as some stitched gifts were enclosed. One emailes me 5 days later (there was a weekend in between) and the other one emailed today. The item was delayed because, according to the label stuck on by the post office, the item was insufficiently addressed and due to the search had been delayed. My friend peeled off the label, only to reveal the correct address identical to the one on the search label. Crazeeeeee!

My Stitch That arrived yesterday (Monday) and I rang to book a place for the January stitch day and order the linen bags and buttons, like you said Janet get ahead for next Christmas. I seem to be lucky with deliveries at the moment my Needle Needs stand and frame were delivered last Friday! (by Royal Mail). My Christmas meat order all the way from Minehead in Somerset has arrived safely in Berkshire too but this appears to have been a courier service. Well at least I can stitch and eat this Christmas!! Merry Christmas everyone

Got home from work to find my Stitch That. Isn't it a shame Ive got no time to do any of the things in it. Oh well, I can stitch in peace over christmas. And speaking of Christmas, Happy Christmas and a Peaceful and Healthy New Year to everybody in the forum, especially Jane and Bill, and see you all in May on the coach. Take care and have a lovely relaxing holiday.

fingers crossed the postman gets there today :-)Posted 14 years ago # -
My Stitch That arrived today. I do wish, though, that Jane would somehow manage to send a bagful of time along with the lovely designs. I can see what you mean about the buttons. Maybe there will be some at Olympia.

I'm sure we all wish that were possible - including Jane herself!

As I keep saying at work if someone would invent a 48 hour day I could fit in everything I need and want to do!!! But then others say NO someone would find even more things for us to do to fill the time. Oh well better go and clear up the kitchen I suppose.

Hooray! My Stitch That arrived today (Thursday) - I had quite made up my mind I was going to kidnap the postman until he promised to deliver it! On second thoughts maybe not - someone else I'd have to cook for.
Hope you are all now looking forward to The Event. Surely by now we must have bought up everything in the shops.
My husband is out tonight for a drink with a friend so I shall just flop on the sofa with the remote control and just watch MY programmes for a change! No doubt the Quality Street will get opened as well - just to do a 'Quality' control you understand. Oh no - I can hear you all groaning - that joke was as corny as those in Christmas crackers wasn't it.
Keep smiling and enjoy yourself. Love to all and Happy Christmas
